Annual Picnic Festival
Our second annual picnic festival was held on June 8th. We had over 100 people in attendance. We had a wonderful group of people sharing their talents with each other and the food was out of this world! Everyone had a great time. We raised over $1,000 for the community garden fund. Joe Johnson won the big raffle and went home with a gift certificate for a free massage at Tamura's Spa. Much thanks to Tamura for donating the prize. We are already looking forward to next year's event

Congratulations
Congratulations to the Jefferson Family on the birth of their twin girls, Amanda and Angelica.

Congratulations to Manuel and Rose Perez. They were married on June 1st. They have been active in our organization for over a year. We wish them a happy and bright future together.

Special Visit
We are fortunate to have our town's mayor come and speak with us in our new conference hall. He will be discussing the power of spiritually based organizations in helping our planet. The mayor will also be fielding questions and breaking bread with those in attendance. We are excited to have such an honored guest!

Summer Blood Drive
This summer we will be having a blood drive for the local Blood bank. Volunteers are needed. The Blood Drive Kickoff will take place on July 17th in our Community Park.

Monday Movie Night
Our next Monday Movie Night will take place on June 11th at our very own Earth Awaken theater complex. We have reserved our theater for a showing of "The Secret". The movie will begin promptly at 7:00PM. Get your tickets now!
